By Automobile

Les Deux Alpes is only 600 - 700 miles from any of the channel ports. Self-drive gives you the benefit of flexibility in your timetable as well as of being able to bring as much luggage as you can fit into your car... The tolls cost approximately 55€ each way if you choose to drive on the motorways. Various ferry companies offer cross-channel services and there is also Eurotunnel. An internet search engine should reveal the best deals.

Motorway to Grenoble (Exit n°8 Briançon, Vizille, the Oisans resorts);
then RN 91 direction Briançon via Le Bourg d'Oisans
At the Chambon dam, turn right and take the D213.
Grenoble - Les 2 Alpes : 70 Km (about 1 hour).

Lyon - St Exupéry Airport (160 km)
About 2 hours drive away - and is serviced by a wide range of airlines. Satobus run a bus service to Les Deux Alpes from the airport. Most tour operators sell flights with transfers to both Lyons and Grenoble.

There are regular bus connections to Grenoble. Cars Monnet run a shuttle from the airport to the train station there. Cars VFD/Satobus run a service between the train station and Les 2 Alpes. Approximately 2½ hours drive away. Some of the budget flight companies offer excellent fares and some are willing to arrange cheap car-hire at the airport. http://www.ryanair.com

Car hire, from any of the airports, can work out very reasonably priced and can often be booked via the airline. Alternatively There are a few companies that offer transfers in minibuses.
